Funeral services for Mary Dale King Cranford will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at McPeters Funeral Home with John William Wagnon and Chuck Hassell officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cranford passed from this life Sunday, March 12, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She was a faithful member of Waldron Street Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, sang...

Mrs. Cranford passed from this life Sunday, March 12, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She was a faithful member of Waldron Street Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir, was a member of the Pauline Missionary Society and Women's' Ministry. She was employed at King Manufacturing for 56 years. Being an active member of the community for many years she served as President of Corinth Music Club and Twentieth Century Study Club. She also loved singing with the Krossroads Kollection. She enjoyed animals, especially her horses and chickens and was an avid gardener and floral enthusiast.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gerald S. Cranford; a son, John William Wagnon and wife Wendy of Hernando; a daughter, Hannah Cranford of Southaven; three-grandchildren, Javan, Eden, and Wesley Wagnon of Hernando; a brother, Charles Wayne King and wife Deborah; sisters, Sandy King Arnold and husband David and Betty King Robertson all of Corinth. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Hugh W. King; Mother, Mary Lee Lipford King; Father-in-law, Manning Cranford and her Mother-in-law, Elbra Frances Sanders Cranford,

Memorials can be made in honor of Mary Dale King Cranford to the Preservation and Renovation Fund of the old Waldron St. Christian Church Building or New Discovery Christian Church in Hernando, MS.
